Rolling with the punches

It seems like every time things start going good and we start getting every thing on track something happens. Jeff is down to working 3 days a week. That's not really working out so well for us but we roll with it. We have done this before and I'm sure we will do this again. I know we are not the only ones going through this right now but man does it stink! We are currently on the hunt for a new job that will work with Jeff going to school. We had a little scare recently, we thought I was pregnant...while this is in our plan somewhere down the line right now its not what we are ready for. Thankfully it turned out that I am not! :) Although if I had been we would have just done what we had to and made it work! I'm so proud of Jeff for all he does. He works so hard to take care of our family. Going to school, working, and doing side jobs to make ends meet. He is truly amazing and I'm lucky to have him!

A new hobby?

I have always love taking pictures although I have never really gotten into it. I borrowed a friend very nice camera yesterday and started taking pictures! I LOVE IT! I really hope that I can get into this more. The big boys were kind of hard to get pictures of. They were too busy digging in the dirt to pose for me. Colton however made for a very good test subject. I also had Krystal over, she listened to most of what I told her to do. :) I think I got some pretty good pictures for my first at it. Im very excited to spend the summer taking pictures!!! If you want any done let me know!!! I would have to practice as much as I can!!!

Xander Megee

Ever since I was pregnant with Alexander my sister has called him Xander Megee. It just seemed to stick and has been what we call him more often then not. He has such a tender little spirit. He is such a cuddler. He will often come over and give me hugs and kisses just because. He is in sunbeams right now and Grandma Erin is his teacher. Now I thought this would work out perfect. I'm not going to lie, I was one of those moms who was worried to send her baby off to primary. Since Xander has moved into primary he has missed several week of church from being sick or visiting other wards. I think this might have something to do with why he doesn't like to go to class. Most of the time he ends up sitting in class with me(if I can make it there) or sitting on the couch in the foyer with me. This last Sunday was the first time in a long time that he stayed in class the whole time with the exception of a potty trip. I don't know what I can do during the week to get him ready to go to class and stay there. Any ideas???

Sick or not?

Last week Alex and Graysen took turns throwing up for one whole day. I thought we were over it since its been just over a week since the last person was sick....that was until Graysen threw up last night. Now I am left wondering, did he eat something his tummy didn't like or is he sick. When he was sick last week it took 3 whole days for Alex to start throwing up after Graysen stopped. I feel like I am just on hold now waiting to see if any one else starts throwing up. I hate being on lock down. How long do I wait???? I cant stay locked up forever waiting for someone to get sick. *sigh* I guess this is just life as a mom with little ones. knock on wood, cross your fingers and say a prayer that nobody else(especially Jeff) get this...whatever it is!

Big Fat Hand!

So yesterday Jeff went out to do some weed eating and I really wanted to help. He came in and I went out to do my share. After about 5 minutes he came out to tell me Colton was hungry. I went in the house and took off my glasses to clean them. I looked down at my hand and it was HUGE! It was so swollen I couldn't get off my wedding ring. I took Colton and went to my mom and dads to see what I should do. Mom took Colton and I stood at the sink soaking my hand in cold water and then putting lots of soap on it to try and get my ring off. I did this a few times and then tried some olive oil. It finally came off with lots of pulling. I don't know what made my hand swell up but to be safe I took benadryl. When I woke up this morning it was still swollen but not as bad. Its so strange to have the palm of my hand so fat its hard to grip things and make a fist. I hope it goes down more soon! For now I just have a fat man hand! :)
